Excellent specimen of a Sandan (3 steps) Kohaku. Very distinct and attractive pattern with high quality hi plate. Good odome(tail joint) and smooth body shape. It has won 1st prize in Kohaku category and Best In Size category beating sanke & showa and other variety of the same size.It was then placed into the mud pond for 6 months to further improve the girth/body of the fish.
Many may think that having a male fish is not as good as having a female but this male fish is exceptional because many female fishes do not have such body and quality.

This kohaku won again in Malaysia koi show 2008 2nd prize 60BU Kohaku category. Once again, it has proven itself.

Another good Sandan koi that turns out to be a male. Moreover from a good, quality breeder. This koi will make a very good show fish - should be able to win a prize in the coming ZNA koi show.
Yes, I hope so. It has good track record so far. Not sure how far can he goes this time :)
